Hi All:
Last night's musical act was Yuko Kishimoto, a jazz pianist who led a trio playing her own original music.
Yuko is a local Capital Region musician who moved to New York State from Michigan.
The show was a lot of fun and a lot of good music went down.
Yuko plays infrequently in the live venues around the area, but you can also hear her music played by Keith Pray's Big Soul Ensemble -- an 18 piece big band that plays every 1st Monday of the month at Lark Tavern in Albany, and pops up in all sorts of other places. (I heard a rumor that she plays every 5th Sunday at Justin's in Albany during brunch.)
No more live bands until Tax Day, April 15th.
I do have a special show coming up for April Fool's Day though.
